Mixing - Digital Audio Workstation Mixing (Includes Mastering)

All Mixing and mastering is done in a Digidesign Pro Tools LE Apple based digital audio workstation. Mastering is done with a -.01 ceiling and consists of maximizing the overall sound and quality of the piece of audio and bounced down in red book specifications at16-Bit/44.1 kHz.
Single song, full Pro Tools session is required. $150.00

Mastering - Digital Audio Workstation Mastering

All mastering is done in a Digidesign Pro Tools LE Apple based digital audio workstation with numerous Waves plug-ins such as the L1 Ultramaximizer and Q10 Paragraphic Equalizer. Mastering is done with a -.01 ceiling and consists of maximizing the overall sound and quality of the piece of audio. The audio is bounced down in red book specifications at16-Bit/44.1 kHz.
The mastering process will include any or all of the following as required:
  • Processing each song individually so that it matches the others in volume and EQ.
  • Adding dynamic processing so that the CD plays back at the proper volume.
  • Matching the overall playback level & EQ to accepted broadcast standards so the material is "radio ready".
  • Adding dynamic processing so lower-powered playback systems don't distort at medium-loud levels.
  • Arranging songs into proper order.
  • Adjusting space Or Crossfade between songs.
  • Editing out noises before or after songs. (Stick clicks, count-offs etc.)
  • Chasing fade in's/out's to perfect digital silence.
  • Fading out songs earlier, or fading in songs that have weak starts, as instructed.
  • Adding ambience or other special processing to broaden and deepen the stereo field.

Audio Editing

All editing is done is done in a Digidesign Pro Tools LE Apple based digital audio workstation and is bounced down in red book specifications at 16-Bit/44.1 kHz.

Extended Edit, also known as Mix Show Edit

This mix is very simple, we elongate the beginning and the end of the song by adding 8 bars / 4 phrases to each. This mix is done specifically for DJs mixing in and out of songs. A stereo mix of the instrumental and the song is required.

Clean Edit Or Squeaky Clean Radio Edit

Clean Edit Mix: also known as Radio Version - this mix can be done with typically any song, this is done to meet the FCC criteria of playable content. Using the instrumental we can make a clean edit, if an instrumental is not available and we are just given the stereo mix the offensive words are simply reversed making it suitable for public airplay. Examples of offensive words are: N*gga, Sh*t, F*ck and any derivative of it, C*nt, C*cksucker, godd*mn, tit, fag. A stereo mix of the instrumental and the song is required.

Squeaky Clean Radio Edit: sometimes the clean edits done for radio might not be suitable for certain engagements such as Weddings, family reunions, church and School functions just to name a few. The offensive words that are edited out for a clean edit, words pertaining to sex and drugs references are edited along with words like Damn & Hell. A stereo mix of the instrumental and a stereo mix of the song is required.

Vinyl Records/Cassette Transfer To CD Audio With Optional Noise Reductions/Sound Restoration

You will receive a CD that will sound exactly like the original recording; no noise reduction will be applied to the final product. Each song will be a separate track on the CD. If the recording is long or extended it will be split into 5-minute long tracks of audio.
